Likewise, I believe this deck should hold a similar principle where if you know a section particularly well, perhaps focus on learning other sections (while practicing that section you already know well). The TBR approach describes focusing on the ‘problems’ so if a person understands/knows a topic well, they should skim the text and put their effort into the practice problems of that section. However, you are welcomed to use any other approach. Personally, I think it would be best to use the TBR approach to this deck since it is very large. This deck could be used in a variety of ways depending on your preferences. There is a variety of extra-information from the TBR Tables and Graphs, it may be useful to study them or not depending each specific case. There are pieces of information titled ‘NOTE:’ which provides some sidepiece of knowledge that may be useful or a good rule of thumb. I attempted to be very comprehensive while creating this deck and adding all of the bits of information from TBR. The deck format has a dark background which will stop you from staring at a white wall the entire day. Like the last deck, this deck also uses LaTeX equations that are built into Anki (more information below). 98% of the deck has video links which mostly link to AK Lectures or other videos. Majority of the cards have an image associated with it and they are tagged by TBR section using Hierarchical Tags. Like the last deck, this deck mostly consist of close deletions and image occulsions since there is a lot of material to cover. Section 1-6 follows directly from TBR Gen Chem I, while section 7-12 follow directly from TBR Gen Chem II. Even if you decide not to use this deck, perhaps glance at these test tips. Section 0 is a test-tip section that contains all of the test-tips used in TBR Gen Chem. This deck has a total of 923 cards with sections 0-12. The EWG score on all is 3 however, the ingredients in each sunscreen are different so I’ve included a link to the EWG’s rating of each product + a link to shop on Amazon and/or Target and Walmart.Īs a note, I did my best on posting current pricing but prices change so if the actual pricing varies from what you see, my apologies.Anyway, it doesn't matter if it reflects or absorbs, Titanium Dioxide is a pretty awesome sunscreen agent for two main reasons: it gives a nice broad spectrum coverage and it's highly stable. 10 safest spray sunscreens for kids:īelow are 10 of the safest spray sunscreens for kids, ranked from least expensive to most expensive. So, what’s a mom to do? Well, I researched and found the 10 safest spray sunscreens that aren’t perfect (a 1!) but are pretty good (all are ranked a 3, which is solid in the 1-10 scale). The EWG says they “pose an inhalation risk and may not cover the skin completely”, advertise an SPF level higher than 50 (which “offers a false sense of security”), and MAY contain oxybenzone (believed to be “a hormone-disrupting chemical”) – none of the sunscreens on my list has oxybenzone in the ingredients. As it turns out, spray sunscreens automatically get dinged when they come in spray format. So I set out to find out which sunscreen sprays are the safest for kids. The reason being that some lotion sunscreens – especially safe sunscreen lotions – are notoriously difficult to rub in, especially when kids are involved. I talked earlier about really wanting a spray that was both safe and effective. They rate skincare products by their ingredients to give a safety rating 1 to 10 a 1 is the best possible rating, reflecting that the product’s ingredients have both low health concerns and excellent balance of UVA/UVB protection. There are lots of gross chemicals that the FDA allows to be used in sunscreen, which is absorbed by the skin, aka the biggest organ of the body.ĭon’t get me wrong, my kids eat their fair share of junk, play with plastic toys, typical stuff, but I like to try to be as clean as possible when it comes to their skin and foods… mostly – I’d say we follow a nice 80/20 balance of organic and junk… #onlyhuman.Īnyway, summer means daily slatherings of sunscreen on their little bodies and I’m ok with spending a little more cash for a sunscreen that’s safer for their skin and free of gross chemicals.Īs a note – I’m quoting/holding the EWG as the authority on the safety of sunscreen. WHY IS SAFE SUNSCREEN IMPORTANT?įirst off, let’s talk about why a safe sunscreen even matters… I’m not a dermatologist or a doctor but obviously avoiding sunburn is the key here. So I set out to do some research on what’s safe for our kids but can also be sprayed on as they’re running away to play at the park or squirming like a worm at the pool. All the safest sunscreens that are rated the safest (a 1 by the EWG) are lotions and the lotions are almost always a struggle to wipe in with kids involved. Since my oldest was a baby, we’ve used ThinkBaby lotion because it’s rated so well by the EWG (Environmental Working Group) for safety.īut 2 kids later, I’m on the hunt for something that’s easier/quicker/more convenient to apply. I posted last week month about wanting to find a non-poisonous but easy-to-apply sunscreen for my kids. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. So Charlotte is a bit of a wild card itself heading into 2016-17. Hibbert is a low-risk, high-reward acquisition who could do wonders for the club’s interior defense if he’s even close to his peak form with the Indiana Pacers–less than two seasons ago. There is a feeling that Charlotte will take a step back this season, but this team has defied the odds before under Clifford, making the postseason in 2014 after posting 28 wins combined the previous two seasons. Steve Clifford took the Bobcats to the playoffs two seasons ago on the back of a gritty defense and a pound-the-ball-inside offensive approach that featured heavy doses of Jefferson.īut the head coach has done a nice job of adapting to the changing trends in the NBA, putting several position-less looks on the floor last season, deploying Batum as a point forward and letting Walker carry the bulk of the offensive burden after being freed from much of the playmaking duties. 10, less than two weeks after he made his delayed season debut. Hibbert, meanwhile, is expected to battle with incumbent Cody Zeller for the starting job in the middle.Ī wild card for the Hornets is the healthy return of wing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who missed all but seven games last season due to a dislocated shoulder that he injured twice–once in the preseason and again on Feb. The Kings gave him 24.6 minutes per game last season and Belinelli averaged 10.2 points, 1.9 assists and 1.7 rebounds on. To be clear, if Belinelli isn’t making shots from behind the arc, he’s not providing much else of value to a club. 22 overall pick Malachi Richardson to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for aging shooting guard Marco Belinelli, who shot a career-worst 30.6 percent from deep last season. The one move that had many scratching their heads was the decision to trade the rights to No. The Hornets brought back Ramon Sessions to replace Lin as the backup at point guard and took a one-year, $5 million roll of the dice on former All-Star big man Roy Hibbert. There are profiles for Simplif圓D and Cura, but I haven't gotten into that either because as you mentioned they require a bit of tinkering (I will after finals are done though). I haven't messed with the 0.2 nozzle yet unfortunately, so I can't comment on that yet. Took less than 30 minutes to set up and calibrate and I haven't had a print turn out badly yet. I've had a really great experience with my cetus so far. I decided to go for the cetus because it seemed like a reasonable upgrade, and I wouldn't have to deal with a lot of tinkering. I ended up returning it the same day after not being able to get a successful print and it having a warped bed. I just got into 3d printing this month and I bought the new MP select mini v2. I may try a tiny detailed print with the 0.2mm nozzle later just to see how it fares but FDM will never achieve the same level of tiny detail. I don't think there is a better printer available under the $500 price point, however SLA may be a better option for your line of work. Just the fact that I don't have to level the bed is a huge selling point for me, something I have invested immense time on with my other printer. I've modded my Maker Select to hell and back making small improvements and while it does a great job, the Cetus3D is doing considerably better in many regards. The biggest plus is that it does it right out of the box, assembly is just 5 screws and you are ready to go. My prints so far on it have looked exquisite, better than anything I was ever able to achieve on my Maker Select. The limited G-Code support does put some reliance on their slicer software though. The heated bed can be purchased separately so not a huge deal (and not necessarily needed, depends on what material you are printing). The lack of an included heated bed is one of the drawbacks, the partial G-Code support is the other. I don't know how it compares to the Prusa MK2 as I don't have one but based on the results others have posted, I would say they are similar. but it is still an FDM printer and it isn't perfect. My general consensus is that for the price, it's fantastic. I'm writing a review of the Cetus3D Extended right now, will likely have it done later today or tomorrow. 2mm nozzle than can share their results with me? So are there any Cetus owners here pushing the limits of there printer using the. The Cetus seems to have a fast learning curve compared to other printers which will be important in my work environment. I wonder how the Cetus slicer will handle my Solid Works solid models. Cetus is not open source but is making an effort to incorporate other slicers which sounds buggy at this point. It does seem to be made with high quality linear rails rather than rods. It's a new printer and doesn't seem to have a huge following. I did some research on the Cetus but didn't find much to verify the quality of it's product compared to other printers. My parts will fit in a 6" box and 2" max height. The person I'm talking with tells me a Cetus will produce top notch 3d pla parts with it's. Boss would not be happy with a printer that needs assembly so no kits. Originally I was looking at a Prusa but it looks like the wait time is like 2 months for an assembled unit. Currently we use pay someone to produce an SLA of our designs but would like to try 3d printing with some of our product. I work with plastic injection molding and we occasionally like to have a plastic part to show a customer a product or test a design before we proceed with making a plastic injection mold. Accuracy and finish and are my main attributes I need in a printer. I will be buying my first 3d printer and a friend of mine who has some experience in 3d printing is telling me that a Cetus 3D printer is the perfect option for my needs. I'm looking for Cetus owner who can tell me how it compares to other printers namely a Prusa MK2 in print quality. Ryan wanted to keep things very clean and austere and even going so far as to not having a lot of feathers or decoration really on any of the hats,” says Guzzi. “The ‘40s can be pretty austere, obviously because of the war and rationing, and so there was not a lot of decoration in the clothing for at least the middle years of the decade. “They would embroider their initials into their clothing, and she just loved that ‘R’ that stood for ‘Ratched’ and it also matched the scarf and the gloves perfectly.” “Sarah Paulson always loved those little touches that they would've done back in the day,” Eyrich says. “Mildred wears several different types of things, but we saved the capes to mirror this idea that she's trying to be the perfect nurse and that she's, in her mind, trying to care for people in the way that she thinks is appropriate.” Once again, the two added a wink in the form of a brooch in the shape of the letter “R” on one of the early looks. Charles Wainwright has the trench coat that's very Humphrey Bogart Casablanca, and Gwendolyn has her short, cropped driving coat,” says Guzzi. And everybody had a very specific coat silhouette. So everybody's got layers to help set that mood and that film noir vibe. “This is a gloomy, foggy, cool northern California coastal town. Even Hanover’s lab coat is a slightly different shade of blue because he, as a character, wouldn't want to quite be in the same shade that the nurse's uniform is, because he runs the hospital and has a very egocentric view of himself.” They additionally distinguished Mildred’s look by adding a pin on her collar lapel to signify her time in World War II with the Army Nurse Corps.Ĭapes and statement outerwear are recurring themes throughout the show. “Picking different shades also sort of helped distinguish a hierarchy - lighter colors for the orderlies and the training nurses, versus the more saturated colors of the nurse dress itself. “We didn't want just monochromatic everything in the exact same shades, so you do get a little bit of color texture with different tones of blue-green,” says Guzzi. While Mildred and head nurse Betsy Bucket (Judy Davis) wear the long-sleeved, belted, buttoned dresses, the orderlies wear a shirt and pants in two different shades of green, while trainee nurses don a lighter-colored apron over short-sleeved styles - all in slightly different variations of the hue for visual interest. If you are someone who looks for experiences over “things”, you will understand that going to a 4DX movie is unlike any other movie experience you could possibly find. Plus, you get to see a brand new movie that just arrived in theaters at the same time – triple win! For you, the fact that that “ride” essentially lasts the whole movie and you never have to wait in line makes the 4DX an easy choice over other ride experiences that you get to enjoy for 1/120th of the time you spend waiting for them. Imagine if Soarin’ lasted for 90+ minutes and you never had to wait in line – that is what a 4DX movie is like. If you are someone who loves rides like Soarin’ Over California at Disneyland and would spend time waiting in line to experience it, a 4DX movie is worth it and then some. So, the answer as to whether or not 4DX is worth it is…. I get that you want to know what you’re getting before you commit to purchase. I get it the cost of 4DX is higher than a traditional movie, which can already be pricey, especially when you’re buying tickets for a family. Since we’ve been talking about the movies a lot and sharing on social media, I’ve gotten tons of questions about whether or not the 4DX experience is worth it. Seeing the cinematography in brilliant detail while enjoying all that 4DX adds to the movie-going experience was incredible, and we were blown away. As with Toy Story 4, The Lion King was nothing short of amazing. Then, this week, we got to see The Lion King in 4DX at Regal Meridian.
